Selection Box on Spools
When you create a spool currently with evolve you can not use the selection box tool to create a 3D view of only the spool. Could we make it where we could do a selection box for spools?

You can also tab, select to bypass the assembly and select the element(s) inside, then "BX". -

Adam AdminI'll leave this suggestion up here, but since both spools (Revit assemblies) and the selection box command are Revit functions that we use....most likely we would have to create a new command since Revit is disabling selection box.
A work around today, that should accomplish what you're looking for is to utilize an Element Filter, set your criteria to select the elements by spool (but do not select the assembly itself, just the elements within the assembly)....then you should be able to use the Revit selection box command at that time.
