Cable Tray Physical Size
Cable tray physical size is needed for coordination. Currently the tray is exact size to the trade size name.
Basket Tray min, 1" sides and bottom.
Ladder Tray min, 1" sides and 2.5" bottom.

JaredAgreed. It would be ideal if you could adjust the trade size of the system family cable tray and its associated fittings to match the submitted cable tray. For instance, 12" cable tray is not actually 12" wide overall, it could be an additional 2" wider on some ladder tray manufacturers. This can be very important to know when multiple trays are run adjacent to each other and can create coordination issues.

MissyIt would be great if cable tray was drawing to the correct size vs the trade size name

Riley MichelFor others on here, you might want to vote on this suggestion at Autodesk, as the Cable Tray family is a built-in family, and cannot be edited. Here's the link to a directly related idea that was proposed nearly 4 years ago: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-ideas/custom-cable-tray-profile/idi-p/10072773
Without this kind of functionality from Autodesk, there isn't much eVolve can do beyond the Cable Tray clearances they already implemented. -

Jason Earl AdminWe are working internally to address this issue. As mentioned in the comment above there are some limitations from Revit that make this difficult. We have a plan to address the issue and will be working to bring that to everyone this year.
