Switchboard Sections are always numbered but usually have a use description like "4000A Main" for example. Currently if text is too long the different sections overlap.
The overall switchboard name should be centered on the center section since its name is often longer than the 1st section. Additional information like ampacity, voltage, connection type, also KVA for xfmrs, and also KW for Generators should be shown for equipment families. Can we add a plug bus version and graphically show this someway? Can we also get an equipment family for a bus plug that would slide into a slot of the Plug bus? I ask this also because there are different weight and material calculations for both bus duct types as well as clearance requirements. A bus plug also has different clearance requirements being as it is mounted above and you need access from below. Bus plugs can weigh 100s of pounds requiring their own dedicated trapeze or threaded rod as well.

Parametric Revit Family for Underground Conduit Transitions

As our models continue to increase in detail, we’re reaching a point where having a complete Bill of Materials (BOM) for underground conduit systems—including all necessary fittings and adapters—is becoming essential.

Currently, modeling conduit transitions (e.g., from PVC to RMC to EMT) can be time-consuming and cumbersome. To streamline this process, I propose the development of a parametric Revit conduit fitting family that allows users to:

Select the type of conduit needed for stub-ups from underground.
Toggle between different conduit types, couplings, and adapters.
Automatically generate the appropriate fittings based on selected configurations.
Adjust the length of straight conduit segments parametrically.
This would make it as simple as placing a single family and checking a few boxes to configure the transition. The result would be a more efficient modeling workflow and a more accurate BOM.

I have an image that illustrates the concept, but I’m currently unable to upload it.

The current auto dimensioning tools majorly seems to help ductwork and plumbing trades. When trying to auto dimension the spacing between the electrical conduits, the tool populates the spacing between the conduits as expected but it also adds a dimension from one edge of conduit to the other which is totally blocking users to use this tool when working on conduits. If solved, this becomes a huge timesaver for the prefab and shop detailing. It becomes even more efficient when you can automate the addition of leaders to the dimension font and place them nice and neat avoiding overlap between the dimensions.

On our projects, we will typically have multiple conduits that have 20a circuits with different wire sizes. Example, 1" with 4#10, 3#8. (H,N,H,N #10),(H,N,#8), #8 Ground. We do not know how to put this into the evolve schedule. As a result, those conduits we have like this we have to tag them differently, like in the comments.

This turns into another issue. When we do the prefab process, the conduits that are ID'd the info stays, but the conduits we could not ID the information gets erased. A big inconvienance. The only fix we have found for this is to just use regular text so we dont have to do it twice.
